Social Bookmarking
You may find social bookmarking to be a useful tool that saves you time and allows you access to many sites and links related to areas of interest. For example, when you are looking for web sites or content about a specific topic you can visit a social bookmarking site and search a particular topic. You will be able to see links and sites that have been identified or "tagged" by everyone else using this search engine to find information about this topic. This allows everyone on the web that is searching for a particular topic to work together to through a social bookmarking site to save links on a topic. "Tag" your own sites and begin an interesting new way of finding information on the web by collaborating with others. Some useful sites are listed below.

Furl - Furl allows you to set up an account and actually save the content of a web page you use. Have you ever developed a lesson plan based on a web site that disappeared? Save the content on furl and prevent this problem.
